Delicious dessert with layers of creamy chocolatey goodness.

List of Ingredients

Base:
300g Chocolate Biscuits (crushed)
75g Butter Unsalted (melted)
Vanilla Cream Cheese Layer:
250g Cream Cheese
300ml Double Cream
80g Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Chocolate Pudding Layer:
250ml Double Cream
150g Dark Chocolate
1shot Liqueur or Vermouth
Whipped Cream:
300ml Double Cream
2tbsp Sugar
Topping:
50g Chocolate Chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the base

In a bowl, mix the crushed chocolate biscuits with melted butter until combined. Press the mixture firmly into the base of a serving dish to form an even layer. Chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes to set.

2. Make the vanilla cream cheese layer

In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently. Spread evenly over the chilled biscuit base.

3. Prepare the chocolate pudding layer

Heat the cream in a saucepan until just warm (do not boil). Add the dark chocolate and stir until fully melted and smooth. Stir in the liqueur (if using). Allow to cool slightly, then pour over the cream cheese layer.

4. Make the whipped cream topping

Whip the cream with sugar until soft peaks form. Spread evenly over the chocolate layer.

5. Add topping

Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.

Refrigerate for 3–4 hours (or overnight) until fully set.

Slice into squares and serve chilled.
