400g Stale Bread (2-3 days old)
3 Fresh Eggs
300ml Benna Caramel Biscuit Milkshake
150g Brown Sugar
100g Candied Peel (or mixed fruit)

1. Preheat and prepare

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a baking dish.

2. Prepare the custard

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, caramel biscuit milkshake, and brown sugar until well combined.

3. Combine ingredients

Add the torn bread pieces into the custard mixture. Gently mix until the bread absorbs the liquid. Stir in the candied peel and chopped nuts.

4. Assemble

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

5. Bake

Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.

6. Serve

Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm on its own or with cream or ice cream.
