At Welbee’s, our strength comes from the people behind the scenes who consistently drive the business forward. Daniel is a great example of this.

After more than 13 years building a career in retail and over a decade of experience in manufacturing, Daniel has developed a strong foundation in operations, commercial management, and leadership. His journey includes working with both local companies and international brands, giving him a well-rounded perspective that he brings into his role every day.

On 1st October 2019, Daniel took on the role of General Manager at Trolees Supermarket in Qawra, prior to the merger into Welbee’s Supermarkets. During this period, he played a key role in the store’s transformation, leading the full rebranding, refurbishment of the premises, and restructuring of both workforce and operations. These initiatives not only refreshed the store’s environment but also significantly improved efficiency and overall performance.

Daniel continued to lead the Welbee’s Qawra store successfully until November 2025. He has now taken on a new challenge as the leader of Welbee’s Naxxar, where he is focused on building strong teams, driving operational excellence, and continuing to deliver a high-quality customer experience.

His journey reflects the commitment, adaptability, and leadership that define Welbee’s.
