At Welbee’s, community involvement goes beyond financial contributions.
It means showing up.

As Welbee’s – We Are a Family, we believe responsibility starts from within our own team and extends outward to the communities we serve every day. That belief continues to guide our collaboration with YMCA Malta, as we expand our social responsibility efforts through hands-on employee volunteering.

Recently, 15 members of the Welbee’s family stepped out of their stores and into the heart of Ħamrun, volunteering their time and energy at the YMCA Malta Drop In Centre. Together, they helped prepare the centre’s new space by clearing old fittings, repainting, and refreshing the premises, supporting YMCA Malta as they prepare to welcome individuals experiencing homelessness with dignity, care, and respect.

This initiative reflects what “We Are Family” truly means to us — standing together, supporting one another, and being present where help is needed most.

Standing Behind “Miles from Home”

Welbee’s is also proudly supporting Zach, founder of Homebound.mt, and his inspiring “Miles from Home” challenge — an extraordinary 2,600 km run from London to Malta, raising funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness in collaboration with YMCA Malta.

Zach’s journey is a powerful testament to resilience, compassion, and commitment — values that resonate deeply with the Welbee’s family.
